What an amazing end to 2023 it has been, marking the incredible first year journey of Barkworth Reeve – and we're eagerly approaching our first official birthday in February 2024!
December was filled with milestones, especially our debut at the Country Living Christmas show right here in our beloved hometown of Harrogate. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with some truly wonderful people and introduce our brand to numerous lovely new customers. But that wasn't all! December also brought a fantastic piece of press coverage that I'm thrilled to share with you.

This feature is particularly special to me because it coincided with my wedding day. Picture this: while enjoying a beautiful breakfast at our wedding venue, the paper lay before me, capturing an incredibly memorable moment. If you follow my Instagram, you'll know that the stunning model shots within the article were captured by yours truly, using just my iPhone and with only two days' notice. I owe a debt of gratitude to my friend Jade Brooke, who stepped in and graciously offered me a couple of hours between her nursery drop-off and pick-up. Despite the weather working against us, we managed to seize a brief break in the rain when the sun peeked out, creating those incredible shots.
The article beautifully conveyed the personal aspect of Barkworth Reeve, highlighting how much this brand means to me as the founder, designer, owner, accountant, and social media manager – the list seems endless! Yes, I am indeed a one-woman brand, pouring my heart and soul into every facet of this venture. This feature was the perfect ending to an amazing year, and I'm buzzing with excitement for what 2024 holds.
